AC Milan fullback Theo Hernandez is sorry for brother Lucas' knee injury.

Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez was forced out of France's World Cup squad with the setback.

“It was really bad news, it's not easy to deal with such a long-term injury," Theo said in a press conference this afternoon.

“I speak to Lucas every day, he tells me we need to win the World Cup for him.

“We are very different players, he is more defensive, whereas I attack a lot more. I don't see myself in any other future role, I love playing as a left-back."
