Aberdeen boss Calderwood delighted with Bus signing

Aberdeen have landed defender David Bus from Dutch side De Graafschap until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old Dutchman will go straight into the squad for Saturday's SPL match with Hearts at Pittodrie.

Dons manager Jimmy Calderwood said: "Dave has a lot of pace, he is good in the air and he can play at centre-half as well as right-back. I always think Dutch players are quite suited to Scottish football. Dave is someone who always defends on his front foot and we tend to sit back in Scotland. He defends going forward, because he is not scared of what is behind him due to the pace he possesses."
