Crystal Palace are on the hunt for Oliver Glasner's successor.

Glasner will leave Selhurst Park once his contract expires, and he isn't short of options after delivering an FA Cup, Community Shield and Europa Conference League title to Palace in just over two years.

Crystal Palace did have Andoni Iraola as their primary target to replace the Austrian, but he's now agreed to join Liverpool, and they've moved on to someone else.

Pierre Sage was second on their shortlist after masterminding an impressive campaign at RC Lens, including second place in Ligue 1 and winning their first-ever Coupe de France in May.

Sage has now attracted several admirers, and according to Fabrice Hawkins, Palace have opened "discussions" with the 47-year-old as they aim to fill their vacant managerial position.

The Frenchman is also wanted by clubs in the Middle East after seeing his stock skyrocket at Lens, with the Ligue 1 side already entering the market for his replacement.

Lens owner Joseph Oughourlian has accepted that Sage's preference is to join the Europa Conference League champions and manage in the Premier League next season.
