As it stands, the Barca coach will step down at the end of the season.
However, Sport says Xavi is taking feedback from the likes of vice-president Rafa Yuste, sporting director Deco and president Joan Laporta about his decision.

The board thinks that the idea of Xavi remaining in charge is the most feasible and beneficial one for the well-being of the club.
Both Yuste and Laporta have publicly declared their preference for Xavi's continuity.
But Xavi wants a project. He doesn't want to talk to four or five transfer targets and have none end up arriving.
Instead, he is not going to accept this situation and will want guarantees before he reconsiders the decision to remain next season as head coach.
