Liverpool are the frontrunners to sign Brazilian starlet Talles Magno.

There is interest from big clubs around Europe, with teams in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal expressing an interest.

Vasco da Gama could use the money from his sale, as they are in a financial crisis, per the Daily Star.

They are willing to accept a bid lower than his release clause, which means he could be available for around £26 million.

Speaking about his quick progress in Brazil, Magno recently told AS in Spain: "It was very important in my life because I made the leap to the professional team.

"[Making my debut for] Vasco, which is what I worked for from the beginning, was very special, a huge emotion.

"I have always worked to the maximum to be able to play as I am doing in the [first] team. I am very happy about that."

The player is likened to Neymar for his explosive dribbling and flair.
