Juventus are watching Mesut Ozil's situation at Real Madrid closely. Ozil has been given an ultimatum at Real, either improve or be sold at the end of the season.
The Germany international's father has already complained this season about his son's treatment by coach Jose Mourinho and reports of this ultimatum are expected to accelerate his departure.
Juve are already testing the waters and exploring the prospect of signing him in January. They intend to use cash raised by the sale of Milos Krasic to land Ozil.
But should Ozil become available, Juve can expect stiff competition from England - where Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all circling.
Juve see the midfielder as the ideal successor for departing club icon Alessandro del Piero.
