Go Ahead Eagles sporting director Dennis Bekking has welcomed their deal for Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella.

The Spaniard, 19, will join Go Ahead's relegation battle in the Eredivisie for the rest of the season.

Bekking is delighted to have recruited a top talent to help them up the table.

“We are very pleased a player with his qualities to add to our selection," he said. “I've seen him play myself in Liverpool and was impressed with his footballing qualities.

“He can hold the ball, do well without possession and in possession has great insight and an intelligence game.
