Manchester City have trumped Chelsea for Millwall youngster Samuel Edozie.
The 16-year-old winger was signed by the champions today for an initial fee of £600,000, with add-ons taking the deal up to £2million, says The Sun.
Edozie, from Lewisham in South London, is expected to play in City's Academy next season before any loan moves are discussed.
There was interest from the Bundesliga for the talented teen from German giants Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
Despite his tender age, Edozie featured in Millwall's Under-18s and U-19s last season.
