He said after Palmer's 2-goal performance in their 2-2 draw against Burnley: "From day one, he has taken responsibility.

"In terms of penalties and in the game. When the team is struggling to find solutions, he wants to take the ball.
"It's been positive for him to play (the number of) matches he didn't play last year at Manchester City. He has had continuity and consistency and is showing the capacity we thought he could add to the team.
"It is obvious we are happy with him.'
