Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has hit out at Nantes over their valuation for Emiliano Sala.

Warnock is angry after believing they had a deal for the prolific forward last week.

He was quoted by Canal Football Club: "It's very complicated. I thought we had an agreement with a club, but they came back asking us a little more money.

"If he signs here, it will not be for £20m. He was a player we were watching, and I hope to bring two or three, but these are not necessarily our first choices.

"I will not let anyone put a gun to my temple."
