Anderlecht player-manager Vincent Kompany is about to make the first signing of his career.
German striker Sidney Sam, 31, arrives from VfL Bochum and has been training with Anderlecht this week.
A free agent, Sam will be signed by Anderlecht, reports HLN.
The striker has five Germany caps and played for a short time with Kompany at Hamburg SV before the Belgian left for Manchester City.
Sam is now due to become the first signing of Kompany's management career.
