As the North London club take on Fulham to push up the table, Dragusin may come in to partner Cristian Romero.

The duo have not played together from the off in any game, but Postecoglou believes they will be a good partnership.

He told reporters: I'll take the suspense out of it - he'll start tomorrow. It's a good opportunity for him. We obviously brought him in with a view that it was evident we were very short in that area, and he'd had a very good half-season in Italy.

He's had to be patient for his opportunity, which isn't surprising because Micky and Cristian have been outstanding for us. And with only a game a week, and sometimes not even that, he's had to be patient. And I said to him when we signed him I couldn't guarantee him... or I couldn't tell him when he'd get an opportunity but he would get an opportunity. I thought he did well when he came on the other day.

It was good that the team was already in a good rhythm but the scoreline was still 0-0 at the time, He contributed to how we finished the game. He's a pretty assured young guy. He has belief in himself, he has really good people around him. I think he can bring something to the team. He's a very strong defender, very good in the duels, and I think we're going to need that tomorrow."

On Dragusin's appearance off the bench against Aston Villa last time around, he added: To a certain extent but he's got a fair bit of self-belief anyway and that's why he made the decision to come to us, knowing it's a challenge for him to get some game-time and it's the toughest league in the world.

I don't think he's shied away from that but every experience you have gives you an opportunity for growth. It was good to get him some game time last week because if you look post-international break, at this stage we've got one midweek game but likely we'll have a couple more with the way the fixtures are going. It would have been tougher if he hadn't had any game time and we threw him in like we had with other players.

That hasn't worked that well and it's really tough on players when they haven't played for a long time and they get thrown in. More than anything that half an hour at least gives him that game-time he needs at the level. He was exposed to a very good team and some very good opposition players. I think that will help him tomorrow, particularly at the beginning of the game."
