ESPN says Ten Hag will be forced to take a 25 percent pay cut next season, if he remains with United.
The reason is missed qualification for the Champions League. Everything suggests United will not manage to catch up with Aston Villa in fourth place.

There is a whopping 16 points between the teams, even though United have played two games less.
United are still considering different managers, but continue to plan next season with Ten Hag, which is likely to see him stay.
Ten Hag currently earns 9m a year. If the cut takes effect, he will receive 6.75m next season.
