The Canada international joined Inter in January and helped them win the Scudetto this past season.
"Everyone in the squad has impressed me," Buchanan told TLN.
"They are all at Inter for a reason and I'm learning a lot from them every day.
"I'm still adapting to life in Serie A. But my teammates and the coaching staff have been helping me.
"It's always nice to take the pitch and show what you can do. So I feel the more I play the more I'll adapt to Italian football."
Buchanan said of his move from Club Brugge: "Inter are one of the biggest clubs in the world. Coming from the MLS to the Belgian league was a big jump.
"However, joining the Nerazzurri was a massive career jump. You can definitely feel the difference, and I'm super proud to be here."
