Saudi giants Al-Ittihad chasing Barcelona defender Kounde

Knowing Barca need big sales this summer to ease financial pressure, Al-Ittihad spy an opportunity regarding Kounde.

Their sports director  Ramón Planes  knows  many of Barcelona's players and in Kounde  believes that he could adapt well to the Saudi Pro League.    

Planes was key in signing Kounde from Sevilla two years ago.

However, whether the Frenchman would be willing to move to the SPL at this stage in his career is the biggest obstacle to the deal, says Marca.
