Crystal Palace shareholder John Textor has expressed interest publicly and now Friedkin is also keen.
The sale of Everton has been a long time coming, and it was expected that the club would be sold to 777 Partners.
Back in September, Everton confirmed the sale to 777 Partners, but the company struggled with its finances, which is why it all fell through.
