United want Craig to focus on the football side of the job, rather than only on commercial deals.

He is replacing the outgoing Ellie Norman.

The goal is to have him focus on communications and public affairs to improve the club's image among fans.

Per The Mail, United are still working out plans for the refurbishment of Old Trafford or building of a new stadium.

INEOS have also got to make a major decision on the future of manager Erik ten Hag.
