But he will be hoping for fairer treatment from the media, where he felt that Carragher, Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Roy Keane, and Paul Scholes have not always been fair in their punditry towards the club.
Per The Sun, Ten Hag feels as though Carragher has had it in for him from the beginning.
He was not happy about the way the former Liverpool defender criticized Lisandro Martinez in the 2022/2023 season.
Ten Hag won the Carabao Cup in his first season and the FA Cup last term.
