Per Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are now stealing a march on the North London club.
They are hoping to get a deal done to bring Luiz to Turin within the next few weeks.
Any deal between Villa and Juve will not be straight cash, as the Italian giants want to swap players.
They will involve Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling Jr in any deal for Luiz.
