De Zerbi had been linked with several Premier League clubs, but is now conceding he may leave England's shores.
"I like coaching, then we'll see where to do it,"he told Italpress. "I had a good time in England, let's see. The important thing is not where I will coach, but how to go, how to stay in that place. I've always been used to choosing with clarity and without getting caught up in the anxiety of necessarily having to coach.
"I'd like to go to another country where I haven't been, try to impress the same game in places different. I believe that Italian coaches are the best, always at the forefront, few can beat us in understanding the game. The environment outside changes, with us the result changes everything, abroad we live differently.
"I also played on the Serie C pitches, coaches can be decisive in giving you discipline, organisation and confidence, but they don't win matches. In the end, whoever has the strongest squad overall wins. Gasperini has not changed Serie A today, but for many years."
