The Everton midfielder is eager to add new parts to his game for next season.
“I was made up to have played as many games as I did this season, that was my target coming into the season,” said Garner reflecting on the year. “In my first season, I had quite a big injury, so coming into this season I just wanted to play games – and games are what I have played.
“I am happy overall with what I contributed to the team and hopefully next season I can add a little bit more."
He also told evertontv: “I have been here now for two seasons and the fans have been nothing but good.
“We have been through a lot of adversity and they have been our 12th man at times, they have stuck by our side so to have them there is massive and I can’t ask for more, really.”
