The Egyptian FA have responded to suggestions that Mohamed Salah refused to come off in a recent game.
The Liverpool attacker had a tough end to the season at club level, which appears to be translating to the national team.

The 31-year-old was playing against Burkina Faso and Guinea-Bissau in World Cup qualifiers.
Salah did score in the second game, a 1-1 draw, but refused to come off in injury time.
An Egyptian FA statement read: “There is absolutely no truth to the rumors that Mohamed Salah refused to leave the pitch.
“Salah was not going to be substituted off in the first place. Hossam Hassan was content with only bringing on Nasser Maher.”
