Departing Brentford striker Ghoddos attracting interest from Iran

Daniel Andersson, the sporting director of Malmö FF, has hinted that Ghoddos may be of interest this summer.

The Allsvenskan outfit made a serious attempt to sign the striker last year.

Now Iranian FBTV3 reports that Esteghlal FC are showing strong interest in Ghoddos.

The Iranians have presented a formal offer to Ghoddos, who however declined.

Ghoddos is reluctant to continue his career in Iran. Esteghlal finished second in the Iranian Premier League last season.
