Crystal Palace veteran Nathaniel Clyne has signed a new contract that will take him to the summer of 2025.

The defender has been a mainstay at the club for the past few years, playing 22 times last season.

He has now played 219 games for Palace’s senior team and will be hoping to reach the 250 mark.

One who has not made the cut is Nathan Ferguson, who has been released.

He is only 23, but has endured serious injury problems over the past few years.

Palace also stated that shot stopper Remi Matthews, who is 30, has been offered a new deal.
