Robinson was previously AFC Wimbledon manager, before he was brought to Chelsea in May 2022.
Bendik Hareide, the club’s sporting director, stated of Robinson’s arrival: "Mark brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in developing players and teams, which aligns perfectly with our vision for Burton Albion.”
The news follows the Nordic Football Group's takeover of the east Staffordshire team.
Ole Jakob Strandhagen is now the chairman and Fleur Robinson is the chief executive.
