Chelsea hero Michael Essien has taken his next step in his coaching career.
Essien has announced he's obtained his UEFA diploma in football management.

He stated: "I have finally completed my UEFA certification course in football management. Thank you all for your help. I continue to learn about this beautiful game."
Essien has been working as a player-coach with Denmark's FC Nordsjælland in recent years.
