Andre Gomes posts farewell to Everton

The midfielder will be allowed to come off contract by Everton this summer.

He said in a farewell video: "The last few weeks have been hard, both for me and my family. My time in the Everton shirt is over. 

"I have to tell you all how proud I am of my years here at the club. 

"Everton is so full of history and great moments, but also difficult situations from which you can learn something. Both parts have one thing in common - the passion for this fantastic club, the fighter's will and the hard work."
