Memphis Depay has posted a farewell to Atletico Madrid.
The Holland striker has been released from his contract with a year still to run.

He said, "It is not easy to say how I feel writing this message because I feel that things could have been very different.
"Maybe it is the best time to say it. To Atlético, my teammates, the club and especially the fans, I want to thank the energy and support that I have experienced in the time that I have been an Atleti player.
"I will always have you in my heart."
