Former Sevilla and Girona coach Pablo Machin has moved to Qatar.
Machin has been named new coach of Umm Salal.

The Spaniard replaces Patrice Cartieron, who asked to terminate his contract after receiving an offer from the Iranian championship.
Machin has already had experience in Asia, where he coached Al-Raed and Al-Ain, both in Saudi Arabia.
