Former Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi has claimed he could have gone to Manchester United.
The 29-year-old was being touted for a move to Old Trafford under boss Erik ten Hag.

He was familiar to the United boss due to his time in the Dutch Eredivisie, which has been a common denominator for many of United’s signings under the Dutch coach.
El Ghazi stated this week, "It was true we were in talks but there was nothing concrete.
“I was a free agent after leaving PSV and they were struggling to find wingers. They were exploring the market. It was close but unfortunately it didn't go through."
