Former Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini has defended the work of coach Max Allegri.
Allegri led Juve to win the Coppa Italia, but was then sacked in the aftermath.

"Juve did the best they could this year. Not even Pep Guardiola could have done more," insisted Chiellini.
The LAFC director was also asked about Thiago Motta as a replacement.
"Even as a player, he was already coaching from the middle of the pitch. You could always tell he was going to become a coach in future.
"What he did this season was extraordinary. I hope he will settle well with the Bianconeri, he has everything required to do well and I am confident."
