Asked if he had a message for the doubters, Imanol replied: "I would tell them that they don't understand football because, not only in the Champions League, but in any World Cup and championships of this type, there have been qualifying matches of teams that have been able to turn around a 2-0 deficit and even a greater disadvantage.
"I have no doubt that, if we play like we did in the first hour there, the team is capable of scoring the first goal and, with the support of our fans, scoring the second and turning it around. And they know it.
"Surely the game will be a little more open, due to the profile of the two teams, but sometimes you wait for one game and another happens. In that game we were not able to turn it around, but I still have an opportunity in mind around the 70th minute to turn it around.
"That is why I say that I do not agree that it is very important to score early, the important thing is to be alive and then that the small details, which fell in their favor there fall in ours, if we score the first goal I am convinced that with our audience we are going to do the second."
