He told LFC TV: "I thought I was decent but could have done a lot more given what I know I can do, but it was alright.
"I do feel as though I'm taking it in my stride, but it all comes from the gaffer and all the players. They fill you with confidence and let you do your thing. If you don't have a manager like that, it's going to be much harder."
On their 99th minute winner, Clark said: "It's mad.
"I always had the feeling we would do something with the top players we have got on the pitch, and Alexis with the calmness at the end and Darwin putting it in, it was top. Every day I'm learning off the other players, especially (Alexis) in my position and what he did at the end was special.
"It was a great way for it to end. Obviously I was grateful to get my first start in the Premier League. When I came off, things were out of my control but I knew something was coming and that late winner was top."
