Lotito told Lalaziosiamonoi.it: "Zaccagni is a player who has shown attachment to the shirt, I would add that several considerations were made by the media, nothing relevant to the truth, only unjustified alarmism was created.
"As regards some players who have decided to undertake another experience, they do so not because they are not happy at Lazio, they do so because someone wants to return to their country of origin even in economically inferior conditions.
"Lazio today is a point of arrival and not a starting point, unfortunately the considerations of some players were also made for family or even economic reasons: if one decides to go to Arabia to take 25 million in salary, he is not a player who can play for Lazio or for any team in the Italian championship."
On Felipe Anderson's departure for Palmeiras, he added: "He called me, reluctantly, despite also having had the reassurance of a future prospect, he made a family choice and I didn't reproach him also because he assured me that he would give his best until the end of his experience at Lazio."
