Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola later said: "We were disappointed with the first half and in the second half, we had much more energy and had chances to score.
"Obviously they continued to push us and put pressure on, we expected much better.
"They have a lot on the ball, they use the keeper on the ball and you have to press them and you have to go high which takes a lot of risks.
"I think second half especially we were much better.
"Relief, yes. We have been in this position and then we lost some very valuable points at the end.
"We didn't play so well, but we won it sometime you have to know how to win these kind of games."
On staying up, he added: "We still need points, it is important for us to score and win games and we still need more points."
