Cesc told the Planet Premier League podcast: "I don't like to talk about myself, but he reminds me a bit of me in Barcelona. I used to play the two roles that he plays as a false nine and a number eight. I know exactly how it feels.
"It's good because he now feels like an important player for the team, but at the same time you don't really know where he will play the next game. It can be confusing, because sometimes it's better to play one position and be the best there.
"But now (Thomas) Partey is back, which is fantastic news for Arsenal.
"Then (Declan) Rice can play a bit more as a number eight sometimes. And also there is (Martin) degaard. So from now on I think Havertz's place will be as a number nine, and it suits him very well for the way Arsenal want to play football."
