He said: The result at the weekend away to Bournemouth was one of those games where we got ourselves back into it and lost the game. We've got massive characters, we've got seniors, we've got youngsters, everyone's got a job to do out on the pitch and everyone is a leader when we go out on the pitch.
The seniors will talk more but when you step across those white lines, there's 11 leaders on the pitch. Everyone knows what we've got to do, we've spoken about it, we've spoken before this game what we need to do from now until the end of the season.
Everyone's got it in their heads and everyone is pulling together and pulling to try and achieve some points on the board."
Young also told the Liverpool Echo: At times obviously it does but when we got the deduction the job in hand was just to win games. It was all we could do.
Around the Christmas period it was just waiting to find out what was what. I think at times it did start to affect us.
But we've been saying the last few games that we've got eight finals left to get points on the board. It's was a massive point (at Newcastle United) and we dust ourselves down to go again at the weekend."
