Acheampong, who made his senior debut in victory over Tottenham this season, told chelseafc.com: "I am buzzing for this United game.
"We have done all the preparation that is needed and we are ready to go out and perform to our best ability to get the win.
"The squad is happy with our recent performances and the previous games have given us confidence going into this clash. It will be a difficult battle, but mentally we are ready.
"I don't think anyone is nervous for the game, we are more excited. However, if there are any nerves in the dressing room, I feel that with my previous experience playing on the pitch in front of thousands, I will be able to settle those feelings and help guide the boys out."
Acheampong also said: "I'm thrilled that the boys will be able to experience playing on the big stage. It almost feels like an out-of-body experience and it is just surreal. There is no better feeling.
"It will be great to have the chance to play in front of a big crowd so we are able to show what the next generation of Chelsea could look like."
