The winger admits he feels more confident under new coach Claudio Giraldez.
He said: "We played a very good game, from start to finish, controlling it and playing what we wanted. We lacked a bit of clarity in the first half, but luckily in the second half we came back in the game. I'm very happy.

"Scoring always gives you confidence. It's not my thing, which is helping the team and being prepared for when it's my turn, which is what these two have been doing months, preparing myself."
Perez also said of Girldez: "He suits us well. We have seen many of the things we have worked on with the new coach and I think the break will be good for us to perfect the way he wants us to play and enter in the games. That will help us to get to the game against Rayo as best as possible."
