The promising centre-back played 38 league games for Valencia as well as two in the Copa del Rey.
The talent has made two international appearances for Spain's U21 national team.
Valencia wants to extend Mosquera, whose current contract runs until the summer of 2026.
However, he is in no rush to sign a new contract, which has encouraged Atletico Madrid - who are showing interest.
