Damiani told Radio Marte: "Future Napoli coach? I think it's a bit early, even if the time is ripe for study and perhaps identification of the ideal profile.
"The teams, however, are all still immersed in the end of the season, each with their own objectives, so I find it difficult to think that Napoli already has an agreement in principle with a coach of the future.
"(President Aurelio) De Laurentiis will take care of it with the managers who have always worked well to bring Napoli to the top.
"Calzona is behaving well, the names of Italiano, De Zerbi, even some foreigners are circulating. Italiano is a good coach, but we must consider that Napoli is a difficult place, where there is strong pressure. It would still be a good choice.
"Napoli remains a team with great ambitions despite the negative season and therefore I believe that it appeals to many coaches, even without qualification for the Champions League: for example De Zerbi - I'm mentioning a name for illustrative purposes - by moving from Brighton to Napoli - would still make an important step.
"It's difficult to predict the names that could arrive in Naples now, certainly the club and the players will have to see some changes."
