Aston Villa have been dealt a huge blow to their twin hopes of success this season.

Villa want to finish in the Premier League top four, while they are in the Conference League semi finals.

Now they could be without Emiliano Martinez, who may miss the next two weeks.

Martinez suffered a thigh issue, according to Infobae, with the severity still to be determined.

“If Tielemans and Martinez are unavailable for one week, two weeks or three weeks, we have to accept it and every situation we are passing for the season we are reacting," manager Unai Emery said after a 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Saturday.

“We are giving chances to other players to help us. It's the moment for other players."
