Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was full of pride after their LaLiga title triumph was confirmed.

Victory over Malaga saw Real clinch the title ahead of Barcelona.

"It doesn't seem like it, but inside I'm very happy," Zidane explained post-match on the pitch.

"38 match days and at the end of it all, it is the most difficult and beautiful, the Spanish league is the best in my opinion and to win it with this game is incredible - I am very happy.

"As always in a season, we have worked and fought until the end, and with the squad that we have we just had to think of working. It has been a difficult season that we worked hard for, with tough moments, but after 38 games we are top and that's it.

"It was very important [to win the league], it was a lot of years without winning it and we knew that the league is everything and when you win it, it is very important. And for Real Madrid, because it is the best club in the world, we have to return with this league title."
