Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was left unhappy with Vini Jr's booking after victory over Almeria.
Vini Jr was again booked for protesting, with Ancelotti fed-up over how he has been treated.
Ancelotti said: "Protesting doesn't get you anywhere, but it is surprising that he has had 10 yellow cards this season.
"He does have to improve in some aspects. More cards have been given to him than to those who have kicked him. Not even the dirtiest midfielder in LaLiga has 10 yellow cards."
He added, "All my players are ready to play but also to rest. Today I rested (Fede) Valverde, who has a knock on his foot, and (Dani) Carvajal. I have the idea of resting players on Tuesday.
"Tuesday's game is complicated and against a tough opponent but I'm going to rest the players who are tired. I'm not going to do it for Saturday's game in mind because it's a long way off."
