Seattle Sounders have appointed Ante Razov as their new assistant coach ahead of the 2015 MLS season.
The 40-year old former USA international has joined Sigi Schmid's coaching staff at CenturyLink Field after most recently acting as coach of the LA Galaxy's U18 team.
Razov has plenty of MLS experience with the likes of Chicago Fire and Chivas USA and sits fourth on MLS' all-time scoring chart with 114 goals.
Of the appointment, Schmid said in a statement: "We're excited to have Ante join our staff. He brings a unique perspective based upon his years of experience in our league, and being one of the top forwards in MLS.
"I think he's a great addition for our club and our young forwards as they continue to grow and develop."
Razov added: "This is a fantastic opportunity and I'm thrilled beyond words.
"I've known Sigi since I was 15 years old, so there's a familiarity there. An opportunity to join a massive club like Seattle is exciting and I can't wait to get to work."
