Andrey Arshavin has no regrets over his item with Arsenal.
The midfielder left the Gunners this week to return to Zenit St Petersburg.
Despite becoming an outcast at Arsenal, Arshavin is not bitter. Asked by Russian newspaper Sport Express if joining Arsenal had been the right move he said: "Yes, I do not regret anything.
"I was at a big club, worked side by side with strong players and lived in a different environment with a very different mentality. In general, I learned a lot of useful things."
Arshavin said it had been hard being out of the team. He added: "In this situation you have to stay mentally strong."
