Zenit St Petersburg are launching a bid for Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The Daily Mail says Zenit are prepared to pay £10million plus add-ons for Tottenham Hotspur outcast Pavlyuchenko.
The Russia striker has found opportunities limited at White Hart Lane this season and will push for a move in January if he cannot break into the first team on a more regular basis.
Harry Redknapp is willing to sell, particularly as he seeks funds to sign a midfielder, but Spurs would prefer a straight cash deal worth closer to £15m.
Redknapp likes Pavlyuchenko, but admits he would rather have three top strikers at the club and Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Robbie Keane are ahead of the Russian in the pecking order.
