Youthful 'spirit' excites Tottenham's Lloris

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris admits he is looking positively towards the future such is the state of the squad.

The north London club currently sit sixth on the Premier League table having won three of their past four matches and are poised for a shot at the top four as the business end of the season draws near.

Lloris suggests the youthful exuberance of the Spurs squad is having a very positive influence at White Hart Lane and believes the core group of talented youngsters coming through can be the basis of a successful side for years to come.

"There is a great spirit here and you can feel it every day, both on and off the pitch," he told the club's official website.

"You feel more comfortable in a game because you know as a team, we are ready to fight and to be aggressive and that starts at the front with talented players like Harry (Kane), Christian (Eriksen), Erik Lamela, Nacer (Chadli) and Andros (Townsend).

"This is the key of what we want in the team."
