Manchester United winger Ashley Young is delighted with the support from fans this season.

Young has been one of the Reds' star performers this term and Old Trafford rose to acclaim another solid display from the 29-year-old when he was replaced by Angel Di Maria against Aston Villa.

"It's always nice to get a standing ovation and hear the fans sing your name," he told MUTV. "They have been fantastic and we wanted to put on a good display for them, get some goals and get the three points.

"We came off a great win away at Liverpool and knew that coming back to Old Trafford we had to keep the winning ways and momentum going."
