Swiss Super League club Young Boys of Berne will again watch Inverness Caledonian Thistle striker Adam Rooney.

The 22-year old Republic of Ireland international has emerged as a strong target for the club who will watch him when Caley meet Rangers at Ibrox on Tuesday.

Young Boys strikers coach Stephane Chapuisat has given his blessing to go ahead and sign Rooney who has scored 11 goals in the Scottish Premier League this season.

Rooney has already been pursued by Russian outfit Kuban Krasnodar, who offered £100,000 which was turned down by Inverness as the Scottish club are keen to secure him to a multi-year deal.
